This service is for those who regularly look after someone in a caring capacity. The Somerset Carers Service can support carers by offering advice and guidance. We would like to invite you to attend the Launch of The Heads Up Training Room on Friday 26th April at 2pm at Heads Up, Upper Breach, South Horrington, Wells BA5 3QG
Specialist mental health trainers Carolyn Smith & Colin Nash have almost 50 years of experience between them within mental health services, many of them at senior levels in the NHS, local Authorities and a national mental health charity. They will be offering a wide range of mental health training exclusively on behalf of Heads Up.
The government commissioned a report last year called Thriving at Work. This tells us that poor mental health at work is costing employers between £33 and £42 billion a year across the UK – in Somerset alone that is between £132 and £150 million a year.
Please join Carolyn and Colin at the launch event to learn more about the mental health training courses that they will be offering, and how this will benefit our local community.
