You may have heard people talking about the film “Care as You Are” produced by Reveal Productions?

The general consensus is that this film could be an extremely useful resource for anyone/organisation who is involved in the care of someone with Dementia.

The film hits the heart of what it can be like caring for someone with this condition. I think that it would be fair to say, that most of us who have seen the film are in agreement that it could be a useful training tool; either as a stand-alone resource, or together with additional accompanying resources.

Click on the link below for the poster about a “Care as You Are” workshop on the 25 June which explores the opportunities to create a really useful training resource.

Subject: Positive Pathways Programme

This exciting new programme is now live! Grants of £35,000 and £70,000 are available for Armed Forces charities working with members of the ex-forces community facing mental health or wellbeing challenges. We’d love to see projects by veterans, for veterans – show us that the veterans in your area want to be involved and love what you’re doing! If you have an activity based project – whether sports, arts, heritage or another outdoor activity, check out our website here for more information, including our programme guidance and how to apply.
