Subject: Somerset Youth Parliament
I’m delighted to forward Somerset Youth Parliament’s recent Press release and Manifesto booklet for this year and next. The three Members of Youth Parliament, Amelia Saleh, Hanna Wittek and Charlotte Ward were elected in December last year at Taunton Library and have already been working very hard on developing, researching and promoting their campaigns. https://www.dropbox.com/s/530k05y9bptinio/MYPs%203.jpg?dl=0
Despite challenging times we have a group of positive, committed young people and the Somerset County Council continue to support local universal youth voice and participation. Young people are rising to the challenges ahead with energy, creativity and enthusiasm. They have an extremely busy term of office and thankfully they are actively supported by three amazing Deputies and an Advisory Group- a diverse group of young people aged 11-18 years.
Please feel free to circulate the Manifesto and get in touch if you would like to know more!
