Please find below details of a road closure for urgent highway works on the A39 Puriton Hill, commencing Monday 10 January 2022:
Somerset County Council will be undertaking urgent works to remove trees suffering from Ash Dieback next week on the A39 Puriton Hill – from the Bath Road junction (Silverfish) to the Ashcott Pipers Inn A361 Junction.
The road will be closed to all traffic between the hours of 09:15 and 15:30 weekdays from 10th Jan to 14th Jan 5 days.
The Diversion route will be signed. (There are currently 3 illumined advance warning signs at the M5, Silverfish junction and the Ashcott – Pipers Inn A361 junction.
